I grew up as a competitive equestrian, dedicated to perfecting my craft and competing at the highest levels. That commitment led me to an athletic scholarship at Auburn University, where I was part of two national championships on the equestrian team.

When it came time to choose a career, I knew I wanted something just as fulfilling as my time in the arena. That drive, combined with a lifelong curiosity about the world, led me to travel. No matter the destination, the thrill of exploration energizes me—and so far, that passion has taken me to 40 countries and counting.

In a world where more people suffer from the ill effects of isolation than ever, travel is a revitalizing form of self-care. It not only delights our senses and satisfies our inherent curiosity, it nourishes our confidence and sense of connection with the world.

Some people collect souvenirs, I’m known to collect amazing friends and experiences.

Since I’m often on a plane or in a different country, I prioritize spending time with family and friends whenever possible, including my six godchildren and their parents. I love cheering on the Auburn Tigers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Born and raised in Kansas City, I was a Chiefs fan long before it was Swiftie! ;) My other favorite college team is the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team, where my brother is the strength coach.

  • While in South Africa, I spent the day at an elephant sanctuary. Elephants have always been my favorite animals—nothing quite compares to a hug from an elephant trunk!

  • I took up golf last year—I’ll be good one of these days!

  • I love reading and writing. My goal is to read 50 books a year— a mix of professional development and non-fiction.

  • One of my passions is skincare—so much so, I went to South Korea to indulge in all things beauty.

  • I have a black cat who sometimes travels with me.

  • I brake for piano bars and try to find one in every city I visit. My favorite? Maxim Piano Bar in Amsterdam.

  • I love cigars and bring one back from every country I visit for my dad and me to enjoy.

  • I’ve visited every state in the US and have lived in 12 states, covering every US time zone.

  • My go-to cocktail is a filthy martini made with gin or Italian wine. My favorite is an Italian label that translates as Sheep’s Pants. If you’re ever in Marche, do yourself a favor and have a bottle—or five.

  • The window seat is far superior to the aisle.
